The Director of Global Business Development for SHBU will be responsible for leading and managing the company's global business development including sales and marketing activities in the electric drive truck sector. Key Job Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic global business plans to expand the company's customer base and ensure a strong presence in the international market.

Support Komatsu subsidiaries and distributors to ensure success in the market and achieve business objectives, including market share, revenue, margin, and profit.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, key customers and stakeholders.

Supports Komatsu subsidiaries and distributors to ensure success in the market to achieve business objectives including market share, revenue, margin, and profit.

Coordination of sales related activities between PMO (factory) and distributors to ensure the smooth flow of information on products, prices, features, and value.

Manage a global team, setting objectives, and establishing performance metrics while fostering a high-performance sales culture focused on customer satisfaction, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Represent the company in negotiations with customers, suppliers, and other key contacts to secure the most effective contract terms for the company.

Coordinate with the commercial team to align sales strategies and objectives while maximizing factory output.

Collaborate with the engineering team and product managers to ensure product offerings meet customer needs and market demands.

Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling messaging, content, and collateral to support sales efforts.

Prepare and present reports on the company's global business activities, including market competitiveness, market trends, value differentiation, product penetration, opportunities for growth and competitive analysis to top management.
Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.

10+ years of progressive experience in business development, with a focus on the electric drive truck or related industries.

5+ years of leadership experience with a deep knowledge of electric drive trucks and related technologies.

Experience with large, complex multi-national businesses and the ability to converse with/present to stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Strong analytical, strategic planning, and financial management skills.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to travel internationally as required.

Hiring Range
At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $165,100 - $206,400. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
