Supply Chain Manager & Efficiency Driver

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Supply Chain Leader to drive efficiency and performance in our India business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimising supply chain processes, ensuring compliance, and enhancing cost efficiency while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence, customer satisfaction and sustainability.

Key Job Responsibilities

1. Supply Chain Efficiency & Compliance

• Optimize the supply chain network to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.

• Ensure compliance with import regulations while minimizing import costs.

• Drive sustainability initiatives, including carbon footprint reduction.

2. Inventory & Logistics Management

• Achieve Net Working Capital (NWC) targets while controlling obsolescence costs.

• Improve capacity utilization and ensure on-time delivery to end customers.

• Enhance inventory planning to balance demand and supply effectively.

3. Sourcing & Procurement Management

• Oversee sourcing strategies and indirect procurement to improve cost efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and supplier management best practices.

4. Financial & Business Performance Management

• Manage accounts receivable and payable to ensure healthy cash flow.

• Oversee financial reporting, business metrics, and performance tracking.

• Provide data-driven insights on product and segment-wise business performance.

5. Business Intelligence & Reporting

• Develop and maintain visibility on all key supply chain and business metrics.

• Conduct in-depth analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications/Requirements

Experience: 10+ years in supply chain management, preferably in mining, heavy equipment, or industrial sectors.

• Education: Engineering + MBA / PG in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred.

• Strong expertise in import/export compliance and cost management.

• Hands-on experience with inventory control, logistics, and procurement.

• Financial acumen in cash flow, receivables, and payables management.

• Proficiency in supply chain analytics and business intelligence tools.

• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
